Ghost Win 8 64bit Full Driver. Yes enabled USB Debug and disabled fastboot, completed the first section of rooting and unlocking bootloader. I was able to confirm root was sucessful. But even though i followed process for unlocking bootloader (which is just clicking the unlock bootloader button), and i did not get any errors, i am not sure how to confirm / double check that bootloader is unlocked. I have not yet come to the point of flashing recovery because for that i have to bring the phone to the huawei logo and then connect it to the PC and my PC does not detect it at that stage.

Really cant figure this one out. Do you know of any other way of making a backup of the phone OS before attempting something drastic like i mentioned in my previous post. (by placing recovery in SD card on phone and flashing it from phone itself and not from PC)?

(by placing recovery in SD card on phone and flashing it from phone itself and not from PC)? Well, my last advice. Did you performed the commands in CMD even with the phone not appearing in the device manager?

When I flashed the recovery to my phone I didn’t get any advice of drivers installing when I plugged the USB cable to the phone stuck in the Huawei logo. So I performed the commands in CMD and all went well. In the device manager the phone is shown? Or do you have an unknown devide? If you have an unknown device you could try to install the drivers manually. And I think that I don’t have any other solution! Flashing the recovery placing it in the SD and flashing that way, if it works will not damage your phone, the result is the same as flashing using a PC.

And if the commands don't work I also think that will not damage the phone (it's like put a wrong command in CWM, just don't work!). Quote: Originally Posted by luisbraz Well, my last advice. But the command hangs at 'waiting for device' i am thinking of trying to flash revocery while phone is on via the terminal emulator. But before i do that. Does any one here know what my options are if somehting goes bad?

How can i create a backup? And how to i restore the backup atfer creating it. Sorry, posted the wrong first link one of these (inside the rar file) is the one i used but i cant remember which one is right one. Download this try the adbdriver.exe first. (almost sure is this one) the UniversalAdbDriverSetup6.msi is a universal adb driver used by a universal unlocker. The Handset WinDriver.exe is the official huawei universal adb drivers for huawei's phones. The unlockphone1setup.exe is a universal phone unlocker but it installs also universal adb drivers.

-just to be sure that it is working as it should, the phone must be powered up ( normal boot), dont put it in recovery mode or the fastboot mode. Install with the phone not connected to the computer. After the installation ends, plug the phone to the computer and let windows search and install the drivers. After that, try adb with the command adb devices if it isnt recognized then unplug the phone and install other driver and repeat the steps. If it adb recognized the phone, try it with the phone in fastboot mode (Volume Down and power button simultaneously). Can you please check and let me know: 1) i installed the drivers fine (no errors) 2) connected phone in ON mode to PC, phone is detected. Looks like i am completely out of luck. I tried to flash recovery from terminal emulater by puting image on sdcard, but no luck. I get 'error scannin partition. Every tried from CMD on PC using ADM, and get same error.

From adb, i tried to adb reboot bootloader. And the phone just reboots fully. Not to bootloader. Is there a way to check if the bootloader is really unlocked or not? Also i am no longer able to get the phone to the PINK screen. If i press vol up + vol down + power button it nolonger goes to pink screen (like it used to before). It just boots up.

Since my phone is detected in the pink screen mode i wanted to try and flash it in that mode. Quote: Originally Posted by indgirl6 Hi, I had no luck with this either.
