As it is I can do a right side up but mirror image, I'm now looking for a program to flip the image. Perhaps I should look for some iSight software that does that. Wouldn't the easiest hack for this be to simply use one more mirror? If you had a video projector, you could also do this (they usually have settings for lenticular screens, which are transparent for rear projection; you have to set the projector to flip the image because it's behind the screen). The monitor itself might have a setting for this as well, but I doubt it. Oh, and ditto on the 'why worry about it'? Movies have footage that gets flipped all the time because the framing works better that way (and the actors suddenly become left handed), and hardly anybody notices.

It's hard to ask a newborn to look at the camera when she wants to look at her grandparents, and likewise the grandparents want to look at the grandbaby and not the camera I figured out how to do it with two mirrors. Now to build it and test it!
